Lanka Dairies Limited is a local company with a proud history of over 30 years. Established in 1994 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Lanka Milk Foods (CWE) PLC (LMF) and commenced operations in 1996, Lanka Dairies Limited and its group of companies specialize in producing and packaging a diverse range of dairy products, including fresh milk, flavoured milk, fruit juices, and other milk-based products, utilising cutting-edge Tetra Pak® technology.
Lanka Dairies Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lanka Milk Foods (CWE) PLC was a standalone company prior to the strategic restructuring . It becomes a group of companies on 31 December 2023. As part of the restructure, the ownership of four owned subsidiaries of LMF by the names of Ambewela Products (Private) Limited (“APL”), United Dairies Lanka (Private) Limited (“UDL”), Ambewela Livestock Company Limited (“ALC”) and Pattipola Livestock Company Limited (“PLC”) was fully transferred to Lanka Dairies Limited.
